  • Jan 2012- Mid January and Winter is very , very mild in Europe. Deliveries have slowed down due to enough stocks everywhere.
  • Sept 2011- First trucks delivered to prepare preventive stocks.
  • June 2011- New 2011/12 contracts. After another season of enormous demand we are already preparing our next winter contracts.
  • March 2011- Shortage of rock salt again for next winter season is forecasted. We are opening new sources to cover our customer’s demand.
  • Dec 2010- First delivery on intermodal train from Spain to the Netherlands on extra cargo of 27mt/truck. We avoid continuous road closings in France at the most competitive price.
  • Dec 2010- Stocks all over Europe are being decreased dramatically. A price increase of more than 20%. maxiSALT maintain price to premium customers.
  • Dec 2010- New 25 kg bag alternative delivery from Egypt ready by beginning of January to be delivered in 20’ dry sea containers. maxiSALT ensures design and production of bags according EU standards.
  • Dec 2010- Last batch of 40.000mt of rock salt from Chile about to be sold at a very competitive price.
  • Dec 2010- Food salt suppliers are struggling because of high demand on de-icing shortens their availability. maxiSALT ensures a secure line from Egypt to deliver best quality food salt for food industries.
  • Dec 2010- New stock for de-icing about to be available. 200.000mt ready very soon.
  • Dec 2010- maxiSALT is developing a new automatic packaging plant for an important Mediterranean rock salt producer.
  • Nov 2010- First to deliver rock from Remolinos (Spain) according EU standards including bar code and 1 mt pallet.
  • Nov 2010- Ready to start the winter season. We enlarge our delivery range from 8 countries: Spain, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Brasil, Peru and Chile.
  • Nov 2010- Winter season started very early. Again forecasts were wrong. maxiSALT signed an agreement with 3 new logistic partners to deliver safely by road through Europe.
  • Oct 2010- Closed an agreement to deliver 80.000mt of marine salt from Abu Qir Port in Egypt with no vessel waiting time. Always minimum of 100ppm anticacking included.
  • Oct 2010- maxiSALT signs a 2 year contract with a European online sale multinational for the supply of de-icing salt in 25kg bags.
